Omdat ik weer aan het werk ben, komt naaien er veel minder van. Bovendien ben heb ik 3 weken opleiding en daardoor ben ik savonds ook later thuis (en ben ik ook doodmoe omdat de opleiding ook nog 'ns in het frans is en ik merk dat het toch echt wel stukken vermoeiender is constant op te letten in 'n andere taal, maar ik kan goed volgen, da's ook al iets ... en m'n frans is er al goed op vooruit gegaan, want dat zat héél ver). Enfin, daardoor komt er gewoon veel minder op m'n blogje terecht en bovendien gaat alles veel trager vooruit dan dat ik zou willen.
Maar vandaag, ondanks het goeie weer, ben ik toch achter m'n naaimachine gekropen en heb het bloesje afgewerkt. (was al halfweg) Dit is het resultaat en ik vind het echt wel schattig geworden! Ik denk dat ik er misschien nog wel 'n bruin rokje onder ga maken, dat maakt het dan volledig af. Maar dan wel 'ns op zoek gaan naar 'n bruin babyribje, want babyrib heb ik zo goed als niet meer in huis.
En verder wil ik ook nog iets over KIVA vertellen. Ik las al een tijdje Miriam haar verhalen over KIVA mee en het leek me wel tof om ook mee te doen.
Wat is KIVA? KIVA is 'n organisatie die mensen met elkaar in contact brengt om zo armoede te verminderen via microfinanciering. Wat houdt dat concreet in? Op www.kiva.org kan je mensen zoeken die geld nodig hebben voor een hun bedrijfje. Dat kan gaan van mensen die geld nodig hebben om stof, wol aan te kopen, tot voedsel, cosmetische producten,.. Je leent hen min. 25 USD (is ong 19 eur) via paypal. Als er genoeg leners zijn en het vooropgesteld bedrag bereikt is, kan die persoon beginnen terugbetalen volgens de vooropgestelde termijn. Je helpt er dus mensen tijdelijk mee, met de bedoeling dat ze er nadien ook beter voorstaan. Nadat alles terugbetaald is, krijg je je geld weer terug (in schijven per maand) en kan je het evt weer gebruiken om anderen mee te helpen.

The women in this committee are from the city of Caacupé. They are very hardworking and together. They carry out different group activities thus encouraging the integration of all the committee members.
The ladies are very grateful to the Fundación Paraguaya because thanks to this institution they have access to constant training and now, training for their children as well. Through this they are enriching their knowledge and helping to maintain their households.The committee has just completed its 16th loan.
The president, Florentina, lives with her husband and children. She sews for a living. Through her work she has become well known in the neighbourhood, something which has also helped her to develop a steady customer base, who always request her services. She says that everything she does is for her children and her household. Making an income in this way helps to alleviate the household expenses.
She is requesting the loan to buy fabric, thread and needles all of which are essential in her profession. She very much hopes to receive the loan as it would a great help to her.

Clotilde currently lives in the town of Huancarani and this is where she carries out her business activities.
